Connecting Churchlands - September

It's my greatest honour to represent the people of Churchlands in State Parliament.
From day one, I've been focussed on getting things done for our community. Your support has been appreciated - thank you.
I've already visited every local government school, met with community and sporting groups, supported events with prize donations and welcomed many locals into the electorate office to share your ideas and concerns. With the help of my fantastic Electorate Office team, we've been rolling up our sleeves on the issues you are telling me are important.
In addition to being your local Member, I also have the privilege of leading the WA Liberals as Leader of the Opposition. It’s a big job and keeps me busy, but I wouldn’t have it any other way – this is a chance to fight for better outcomes not just for Churchlands, but for every West Australian.
A key focus for me is holding the Government to account on the 27 funding commitments made to our local schools and community groups at the March election. We shouldn’t wait four years for these commitments to be delivered. I will continue to apply pressure on the Government to ensure they are delivered as soon as possible.
Please take time to complete the community survey on the back of this newsletter to inform my work going forward on behalf of everyone in Churchlands. I’m always keen to hear your thoughts as we work together to build a stronger future for our community.
