Supporting local sporting clubs, community groups, and P&C/s

This week, the Department of Consumer Protection identified around 5,000 organisations across Western Australia at risk of having their registration lapse or be cancelled.

In response, our team has contacted local community groups on the list to ensure they are aware of their status and to offer support in completing the re-registration process. Often these are due to simple administrative oversights, such as missed annual returns, outdated office bearer details, or overlooked renewal fees.

Community organisations play a vital role in supporting local families, schools, and neighbourhood initiatives. It’s important that these groups are given every opportunity to maintain their registration and continue their valuable work.
