Community invited to shape future of Kings Park and Bold Park

Western Australians are invited to help shape the future of two of the State's most iconic natural places, with public consultation now open for a new 20-year Master Plan for Kings Park and Bold Park.

Western Australians are invited to help shape the future of two of the State's most iconic natural places, with public consultation now open for a new 20-year Master Plan for Kings Park and Bold Park.

The Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority (BGPA) is developing the Master Plan to help guide the management, use, and protection of both parks over the next two decades.

Following the completion of an initial research phase, BGPA is now inviting the community to share its stories, ideas, and experiences to help identify how the parks could evolve while protecting the qualities that make them so valued.

Community feedback will help shape the long-term vision for Kings Park and Bold Park and inform how these much-loved places continue to be enjoyed into the future.

Public consultation closes on 13 August 2026.
